Initial Puffs:

Interesting maduro - clean, light, and not dark; leather, bit of pepper, quite a good amount of cola-ish sweetness, and a clean cracker-y taste that was along the lines of a water cracker. Superb and highly recommended retrohales.

Afterwards:

The cola is a major highlight throughout, up till about the 3/3. Somewhere before, probably 2/3-ish, there seemed to be a semi-spicy cherry pepper taste embedded within the cola. 3/3 gets spicy-cola-ish.

Not much pepper throughout. I remember other-wise with the corona vitola - makes sense I guess, but I've never really explored vitola differences.

That cool-to-the-taste flavor is there and the cola sweetness is part of it, I believe.

Wondered if a bit of the Jericho Hill is in here.

Issues on the burn - lots of touch-ups. Very minor tunneling. Always came back nicely. Only noting for next time.

Judgement:

Great stick with an awesome retrohale. Price-wise, $12-ish seemed steep at first, but was ultimately worth it. Definitely would check out this vitola again, but the Corona Gorda will hopefully be the next stop in this line. Recommended.
