Crowned Heads Four Kicks Black Belt Buckle (Corona Gorda)

Thought this was an oscuro stick. Famous says CT broadleaf maduro.

Oscuro-like flavors during the initial puffs. If it's not oscuro, then this maduro has some of that oscuro sweetness and flavor spectrum.

1/3 - nice with maduro-y sweetness; and a nice contrasting savory and spicyness, that seems like steak sauce.

2/3 - The sweetness dies down, but the oscuro-y maduro is still there in the background. Get's a little chalky. Still nice and A-1ish. Nice coffee bean residual.

3/3 - Maduro is still a tad sweet, but gives a nice coffee and bittersweet chocolate residual. Savoryness is replaced by an earthy maduro-y boldness.

Superb burn - no touch-ups needed.

Stick does run hot, especially in the 3/3, and more rest in-between puffs is probably needed as you progress. No issues with souring.

    Judgment:

Great stick. Price-point is very nice - great value. Solid throughout. Very glad I have another, and I believe the stick will score higher on the next smoke. Recommended.
