From PipesandCigars:

"65th Anniversary Cigar The CAO 65th Anniversary cigar is a limited edition item made in honor of founder Cano A. Ozgener's 65th Birthday. The cigar reflects Cano's personality in that it is rich, complex with hints of sweetness and is meant to leave a smile on one's face. The wrapper, binder and filler are all from various farms and specific regions of Nicaragua to compose this puro. Part of the proceeds from the sales of this cigar will be donated to cancer research"

The cigar is presented in a beautiful gold tube with Cano A. Ozgener's signature across it.

Very nice construction on this cigar with no soft spots and no noticeable wrapper flaws that would affect it in anyway. It's time to light this one up and get going!

The first few puffs on this cigar I got some spicy flavors along with some sweetness, the spice did not stick around for long as it has already began disappearing.

As we work through the first third of the cigar the spice is completely gone, I am now picking up a nice creamy caramel flavor. This cigar has been aging for quite some time so I expected a wonderful medium bodied smooth smoke and so far that is what I am getting.

Getting into the second third of the cigar the smooth caramel flavors are still dominating, there are no hints of any spice left at this point. The cigar is drawing beautifully and there are no burn issues...it went uneven a few times but it fixed itself quickly each time.

Onto the final third we go...this cigar is smoking wonderfully and is hands down the best CAO I have had. I begin to pick up some slight coffee flavor at this point, however the smooth caramel flavors are still dominant...I guess this was the sweetness I began to pick up in the beginning.

Onto the nub we go....I was very impressed with this cigar. It was smooth all the way through, had no burn issues or draw problems at all. If you have the chance to grab one of these it is certainly worth giving them a try even if you don't particularly like the CAO brand. At this point it is still smoking well and is incredibly smooth.

Huge thanks to Veeral for giving us the chance to smoke this cigar, he is a great BOTL and class act all around. This was a nice second smoke of the day at our NJ Herf! I hope you enjoyed the review!

Sit back, relax and enjoy a great cigar in good health!
