    Intro / Pre-Smoke Judgement:

Saw this little feller, and the box was almost empty. Liked the name. Liked the Green Hornet. Needed more from Black Works Studio. Been into smaller sticks lately because of inexpensiveness (usually) and the time dedication. All these arrows pointed to the Rorschach.

    1/2:

Medium-plus body. Kind of complex, but also kinda simple. I think the Rorschach shares a common blend with the Green Hornet - but I cannot fully recall. Bold and robust for a short stick. A slow retrohale offers an Asian spice flavor, and horseradish or wasabi - probably wasabi. It kinda burns like wasabi on the nose, and doesn't seem like pepper. Strong tobacco bite and flavor. Residual is a tad sweet, then becomes nutty, with the tobacco flavor coating the entire mouth. Draw is superb - lots of nice smoke. Burns like a fucking champ - was cooking dinner in between puffs, and the Rorschach never was a pain.

    2/2:

Has a nice scent when not smoking. Becomes a little more bold and the tobacco bite follows with an uptick in bite. Purging helps bring it back to the original intensity. The wasabi and Asian spices become harder for me to discern, and the wasabi nose burn is less. The tobacco taste and bite become the showcase. Around the 3/3, a new flavor pops outta nowhere - kinda reminds me of fresh, wet pine. Maybe I was imagining the pine, because after that emergence, I cannot detect it. Rolling the punch'd end brings back a wallop of wasabi - very nice. The draw seemed tight, and maybe ot was blocking the flavors. YES, the Asain spice and wasabi returns, with a mix of nuts, and it makes me think of wasabi almonds - tremendous.

    Rorschach Test (Band):

I'm seeing a butterfly in the center. I'm thinking there's something sinister in the top white portion. There, I'm seeing a monsterous, wide faced, four-eyed, ant-like face. I'm also seeing two ghastly figures in between a nice bottle of spirits. City-scapes on the sides, with a water reflection below. The bottom white portion makes me think "ritualisitic" or "sacrificial", with deers looking up at an altar.

    Trial By Smoke Judgement:

Another interesting and fine smoke by Black Label Studios. The first couple puffs, I wasn't sold, but that quickly changed. For $5 and change, it's very much worth your money. Lasted about 30-45 mins - which was unexpected. Highly recommended to my bums, especially those who like wasabi with their delicious and fresh sushi/sashimi or wasabi almonds - like me.

For my bums who want to psychoanalyze me or perform their own test - here's a close up of the sweet band.

Hey, man. Thanks for posting your nice review. I found it easy, informative and entertaining. To me, the perfect combo! I am going to try this stick..if I can find one. Thanks. Black Label Studio Rorschach (Petit Panatela)

Ps. Good eye on the label. Within the butterfly, I see Butch and Sundance back to back with guns drawn...or... two lima beans kissing. Hmmm.. lol.

Thanks for reading and responding. Have you had any of the Black Works Studio smokes? I'm sure you'll enjoy the Rorschach.

Nice eye on the label, and thanks for the chuckle, but sounds like you belong somewhere more...padded?
