Avo Uvezian Classic No. 2 (Toro)

    Intro:

Lunch-time smoke sesh, with MY BOY. Used his spiffy and solid (like a rock) Camacho V-Cutter. I'm damn envious about that cutter, my bums. Picked out the first thing that stood-out to me in the tupperdore this morning. However, and to my dismay, my bums, I noticed, after my three STONG shots...thay I MAY...have made a poor decision.

    Pre-Smoke Judgement:

Eh, not a mild guy. She's probably gonna be mild from the looks of her wrapper. But, IT'S AVO! It's not my "speed", as I like to say. ("speed" as defined, to me, is "a combo of personal preference and enjoyment level, style, and maybe, intended target audience" - sticky it in your mind, if need be)

    1/3:

Wrapper confirmed CT suspicion via CI. Mild profile. Smooth. No sweetness. Subtle spice hints in the background of a clean and light tobacco flavor. Not really interested, thus far, at about 1 inch in. It's OK (but I'm not a mild kinda guy). Light residual with a clean tobacco coating. Not fragile, and I find she's tunneling, so I torch, and pick up the pace. The profile steps up a notch around 2 inches in. The retrohale is now more pleasant, as the spice has increased

    2/3:

Definitely a "kinda-gets-better-as-you-progress" type, to me. The residual is noticably more nutty, and almost entirely masks the tobacco on the tongue, but the tobacco is kinda more there in the palate. So far, still OK, but my interest has remained still low, but a little more than the 1/3.

    3/3:

Spice can fluctuate, depending on how you smoke. Hitting hard can bringth, and softness can taketh. Kinda the same with the profile. The residual becomes almost totally creamy-nutty, with a light basking of tobacco.

    Trial By Smoke Judgement:

Didn't personally care too much for it. However, it was very smooth, purist-esque (which I'm beginning to have more respect for), would probably fare very well with the top mild contenders, and would instantly recommend to bums who's "speed" matches. Pricepoint wise, I'm not sure if $10 (CI) is worth it, but I got it for...maybe $3 on...yes...Cigarbid.
