I'll be honest, I bought this cigar b/c I love Knights and this one had a knight on the wrapper. So I assumed it would either be a great smoke, or I would look cool smoking it.
cig 1.jpgI light up this guy and immediately tons of smoke come billowing out. In this first third there is a lot of black pepper kick on this one, some hay and just a little bit of oakiness. Not much complexity outside of those flavors with the black pepper really dominating.
In the second third, the smoke output is still very intense. Draw is super smooth, but this cigar had to be touched up. The wrapper started unraveling a bit. The taste on this third really brought that pepper way out to the forefront. It was really the only flavor that I picked up at all. Really disappointing.
On the last third the cigar had to be touched up again. This thing was a really booger. But there were finally some flavors that pulled through. That original oakiness in the first third made a final appearance as well as some smooth creamy flavors to mellow out the black pepper.
Overall, I would probably never buy this cigar again. Was honestly more of a dog rocket in my opinion, which stinks b/c the wrapper had so much potential.
