I know this is a common cigar, but I had an Ashton VSG tonight and I don't believe I've had one before.
This won't be that in depth of a review, but here's my thoughts on it.
I usually smoke maduros, so the sungrown wrapper was a little different. I detected no sweetness, but rather a savory woody note throughout the entire cigar. It was incredibly smooth. I didn't notice any spice on the retrohale, which I was expecting to get.
I did enjoy it, and it didn't get bitter at the end. It was just as smooth at the end as the beginning.
