AJ Fernandez Enclave
Not gonna waste my time with this turd burgler.
It was almost tasteless - diluted at best. Smoke for 30 mins or so and finally gave into my will to find something interesting. The Gurkhas I reviewd awhile back had more flavor, and I'd take one of them over the Enclave anyday.

Is this the only one your smoked? I have been know to smoke a Gurkha or two and this should have been far above it. The standard Enclave is preferable to me but the broadleaf is a solid stick. Would be interested in hearing your thoughts on AJ in general.

Yes, first Enclave. I don't know a whole lot of AJF other than a San Lotano (CT) that was pretty good. The New World Maduro, I remember being OK, not interesting enough to make me want to buy more, and not worthy in it's pricepoint. I would like to get the San Lotano Maduro...that would probably be pretty good from what I recall of the CT.
What's your experiences with the three?
Is the Enclave worth another shot?

I am botderline AJ fan boy. I will at least give anything he touches a shot, but at the same time I can admit a bad cigar too. I think the Enclave line is a good cigar and sounds like to me you may have just got a bad one. I think the standard Enclave line is slightly better but that is me. If you see a deal it would be worth a try in my opinion. I really enjoy reading your thoughts on cigars, keep it up. Good or bad, its all helpful. I am not a fan of only posting about the good ones.

I don't like only hearing about "good" cigars, as well. What I really don't like is reading "good" reviews about every cigar known to man.

I'm a big AJ fan, and while Enclave is not one of my favorites, I've never had a bad one. I'd give it another shot - although if you're experimenting with AJ, I'd prefer a SL Bull, SL Requiem, New World, or Man O War (especially Ruination 10th anniversary).

I just took a look at the SL line, and I'm liking what I see. Nice recommendations. Didn't realize the line was that extensive.
