Aging Room Quattro F55M Maduro (Robusto)

Intro:
Had a run of disappoint smokes (PDRs & Davidoff), so I go back to a known good brand I enjoy. Got a fiver awhile back for around $13, I beleieve. I haven't seen too many Aging Room reviews here, which is a damn shame. Let's fix that...
Intial Stuff:
V-cut. This damn Xikar must've grown a pair of legs, or my memory has been taking a stroll down to many forgotten lanes.
1/3:
A deep and pungent spice (Mrs. Dash type) fills the mouth and nose from easy draws. A nicely noticable, but mellowed spiciness (spicy as in hot), through the nose on the retrohale. The residual leaves a decent tobacco flavor with a hint of sweetness on the tongue. A SLOW oral exhale allows the spiciness to nip at the tongue and palate. Very nice.
2/3:
She's a quick burner. Even with a nice pace and regular pulls, she'll surprise you on her swiftness. Maybe 10-15 minutes, and I'm already here at the 2/3. She can become bitter if you try to maximimize your experience by trying to not allow for a rest in between puffs. The spiciness picks up sharply and without warning. The nose reaclimates to the nice change-up, but still allows for the uptick to be quite apparent. The spice levels (Mrs. Dash) pick up a little intensity as well. Definitely need to allow a resting period, which I'm having trouble with. But, you know me, my bums, I give her the room she needs, and, YES, she's now not the bitter bitch she can become easily and quickly. She respects a patient...smoker...and the enjoyer is then paid back tenfold.
3/3
I was enjoying her too much, too quick, and she left the universal calling card as an unpleasant, and ruining residual. I try to swishing my palete clean, but I was unsuccessful, which is a damn shame. I was shortly into the 3/3, and the residual stayed for about an inch, and I tossed her. She was a delight up till that point. Rich, bold, and a overall pleasant smoke, but a little fragile.
Trial By Smoke Judgement:
I was warned early on about her temperment and hastiness to finish. As with many things, I believe it may have been operator error, because I don't recall a early and bitter finish on the other F55Ms. She's still a winner and a personal go-to for a sub $4 smoke. She has her drawbacks, but is a great smoke at this pricepoint. We'll see more of this stick soon, and I'm sure they'll have a better finish, and hopefully be less tempermental.
