Thanks to [insert name here] for gifting me th...oh wait, it's a cigar I bought myself! Whodathunkit?

6" x 60

Before the Fire

This is a sizable cigar! I get some cedar and hay notes from the foot, and the wrapper is a nice light brown with no prominent veins and slightly visible seams. I punch it and get a really good draw, which is surprising considering it's a 60 rg and my punch is only 9mm. I get pre-light draw notes of wood, nut and a hint of spice.

First Third

Creamy, sweet with a very light amount of spice on the retrohale. Also on the retrohale, some delicious notes of nut, wood and tobacco. Good smoke production. A few puffs in and I taste a buttery and woody taste. 1" in and the spice on the retrohale has climbed up to a solid "light" rating.

Second Third

Spice ramps up yet again to a light-medium level on the retrohale. The ash is a light gray with gray speckles (what causes those speckles in some cigars?) I continue to get the buttery, creamy and woodsy flavors.

Final Third

I'm outta time! Two hours and ten minutes just to get into the final third!

Closing Thoughts

This is a solid cigar. MSRP is $4-6 for one of these suckers, and the quality is very good, and this could easily be 2.5-3.0 hours. Yes, it's mild-medium, but it has good flavor and is just a stupendous value. Unless you don't have two hours (or more) to smoke one. In which case you should go for one of the smaller vitolas.
