Could only find 2 reviews of the Robusto vitola of this, and neither was from anywhere well known, so no idea how good their reputation is, so opted to not include one.
Very smooth wrapper with one thin vein running most of the length, completely invisible seams and a medium smooth, uneven short/medium cap.
A hard bunch and slightly tight cold draw with no taste.
Overall an attractive appearance.
Very slightly uneven burn the first half that self-corrected in the second, flat coal, mottled grey, strong ash, and perfect draw. Had one nickle sized piece of wrapper crack off, but no other issues.
Excellent smoke volume and fragrant, floral aroma
Generous richness, mild strength, perfect balance and generous flavors of wood and floral tastes, and a smooth, generous body. Finish/aftertaste was generous wood and floral flavors and with a very light burn on the tongue.
Overall of great character and a generally great cigar, with a final score of 94 out of 100. Very close in score to the No.3 from a while back.
Unfortunately, this leaves only 1 cigar left to review from Bruce's aka
@Ljutic
generous lot.
Have been saving next weeks, final cigar, specifically to be the very last in this entire 22 or so week journey.
I friggin' love cigars

Had a handful of the 1495s and enjoyed them all.

The La Aurora factory was well represented in the stash. I had accumulated a few boxes of 1495s, 100 Annos, and the basic Leon Jimenez Connecticut and Cameroon cigars over the years. You and Frank both agree that age didn't seem to hurt these cigars at all. From the coolness factor, you can't top the 1903 Perfecto Tubos. Too rich for my blood, I only smoked a few of those over the years.

Thanks for the info.
Didn't know that as i just started adding the Factory in the reviews, so just just started looking them up and learning what came from where.
In hindsight, i wish I had this newest version of my review form from the beginning as i would have learned much more digging up all the information and seeing how various aspects, like Factory, compare.
I can't really say how much wrapper type effects how much I like a cigar, but the 1495's were amongst the highest scoring, with the #3 having the all time record of 97 if i remember correctly, and the scores on both were well earned. Great cigars, and so much flavor still after so many years.
