2007 La Aurora 1495 No.3
Another compliments of
@Ljutic
Wrapper Color: Mottled Dark Brown Colorado Maduro
Wrapper Type: Ecuadorian
Filler: Dominican, Nicaraguan, Peruvian
Binder: Dominican
Country of Origin: Dominican Republic
Cigar Humidimeter Reading: 61%
Environment:
Temperature: 77 degrees F
Outdoor RH: 32%
Note: filler, binder and wrapper info is from Cigar Scanner and information from a 2010 review online, so may not be completely accurate, as I am unable to find the No.3 vitola mentioned anywhere in an extensive Google search, and recent production seems to be a slightly different blend using some Brazilian leaf.
Outside smoking environment: 80 degrees and 32% humidity.
Cigar Humidimeter reading:61%
A 5.5x40 Corona with a fine, smooth, but veiny, mottled dark brown, Colorado maduro, Ecuadorian wrapper, smooth, very small cap, and a firm bunch.
Constructed of Dominican, Nicaraguan and Peruvian filler, and Dominican binder, and made in the Dominican Republic.
Even burn, flat coal, mottled grey typical ash, and a perfect draw.
It did peel badly at the head immediately after being cut,* even using the method of laying the cutter on a flat surface and inserting the head and cutting, but some glue fixed it fine and no further issues of any kind.
Excellent smoke volume and a strong, fragrant aroma
Of ample richness, smooth, mellow, mild-medium strength, generous body and perfectly balanced flavor of woodiness and floral tastes, and a generous finish of the same.
No sweetness, bitterness, burn on the tongue, sharpness or saltiness
Outstanding character and an overall outstanding cigar, with a final score of 96 out of 100.
The highest score I have given to date and it was well earned.

Thanks. Still working on getting all the proper information out in my reviews.
Its been an evolving process being a newbie to reviews.
Emailed the form i fill out as I'm smoking the cigar for review to @jefslat for a professional opinion on what I should add or omit, or how to just make my reviews better.
Much appreciate his willingness to help me out as he seems like a pretty busy guy, so its very nice of him to take a little bit of his time to go over the form and my reviews.
I friggin love cigars
