    Room 101 Namakubi (Sucio / 7 × 48)

*This review is more notes for me to return to on my next Namakubi encounter.

Cigar was pretty dry, I believe. VERY firm, yet, the wrapper did not crack when squeezed pretty tight, yet there was very little give.

A very subtle Room 101 signature, mostly in the 1/4.

Not sure if it's due to the age, but there wasn't much I could discern individually. Seemed to me, putting dryness aside, that everything that should've been or is there, is melded so that the strength or taste is a function of age. Yet, I have zero experience with aged sticks.

If I were to ballpark it: woodsy, zesty spice; and maybe some leather and sweetness. However, everything was melded tight, with the zesty spices most discernable.

Tossed around the 1/2 mark due to a handful of reasons, with uncertainty of the cigar's shape being one reason.

Displeased with my first encounter, but again, the fault lies in my hands, because I didn't check the "health" of the stick before purchasing. But, really, I would've purchased anyhow (since these are scarce). I was too excited to let it (hopefully) rehumidify, but I hope to not make that same mistake next time, with any sticks.

Sorry you had such a bad experience!
A different vitola, but that was one of the 1st sticks that got me into this hobby. And its too bad that they don't produce them anymore.
