Sure they're worth restoring. If a pipe is $30 new (Like Dr. Gs) and you only put a couple of dollars (a few pipe cleaners, a little salt and some alcohol) into restoring it to good working condition, you're a winner. I've restored a few already and am always on the lookout for them.
Plus I like the idea of taking something old and putting a little work into it and bringing it back into the world of being used again. Too many people have the "Throw it away and buy another one" mentality these days. But that's a different topic for a different forum I suppose.![]()
