Though I've been on the cigar side for a spell, I'm really enjoying taking up pipes. Anyhow, this has been an exciting new adventure for me. Just tripping through all the noobness and appreciate all the help I've gotten so far. Great bunch of people here.....

The slope is slipperier and more steep than the cigar one
Like Shemp says, dry your tobacco more. Also, smoke more slowly than you think you should.You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.
