Fellow Bums,

What a fascinating and exciting little social experiment we've all been a part of? I love how the community, the people, have demonstrated unequivocally that WE are the forum. Thank you for our mod/leadership team for providing such a wonderful landing zone, the vehicle for the community. But our long term success will be driven by our ability to attract "really" new members. We've had a few but largely we're immigrants, refugees that have found a new home. The influx of noobs will sustain us and add new ideas, new blood.

If you've got any smoking buddies (not a-holes you tolerate because they're the only guys you know that smoke too), invite them to join Cigar Bum. If you meet someone new while hanging out at the B&M, tell them about the best cigar community ( hell, the best forum of any kind) on the Internet. We've migrated successfully. Now, let's continue doing what's made our community great - welcoming and indoctrinating noob smokers into the hobby and down the slippery slope.

For your consideration,
B
