Welcome, Jacob! Good to have a real craftsman on the forum!
Yes, do please share your expertise with us. There's a cigar rollers subforum - Torcederos Unidos in the cigar section, and a Do It Yourselfer subforum in the Pipes section. I roll my own cigars ("Brohiba") and make cold-pressed flake, but haven't gotten into growing, curing, and fermenting (yet).
If you have surplus cigar leaves that you're willing to part with, I wouldn't mind buying some from you to try out. Right now I get about half my leaves from a grower in KY, and about half from the online distributors - whole leaf tobacco and leafonly.
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.

Thanks Bruck,
Going through a dry spell since just out of winter, but hope to be harvesting in about 75 days give or take. I wouldn't charge you for them, would be happy to just send you some to try. I actually gave away more tobacco to friends last year than I smoked or saved for myself. So much that I had to order tobacco from that same whole leaf tobacco site, (great site by the way). Hopefully I will have a bumper harvest this year and there will be plenty to go around. Can't wait to post pics of the different varieties as they grow. Also thanks for the tip on the rollers subforum.
