Howdy.

Someone suggested I stop in and check out the site. Looks good and I see a lot of interesting threads. I've been lurking and catching up on old threads for a few days now. I have a question about making posts. Will I have to go through the image verification process for each post? I've posted a couple of things and get a message they have to go through moderation, but never appear in the threads. Just curious if this eventually goes away as members develop a track record on the forum.

My primary interests are cigars, pipes, and accessories. I think I've met a few of you on other boards over the years. I picked my username wisely so I've been able to keep the same one on all the cigar boards.

I believe this is a temporary thing with the posts to keep spam bots at bay. That aside welcome to the Bum.

Welcome. What brands or types of cigars do you prefer?

The waiting period thing happened to me during my first posts. Didn't see them, at first, so I kept replying to someone. They eventually got out there. Pretty sure they have to be approved first.

Old ones. Mostly because I went a little crazy in the early 2000s and have not had to buy anything new in 10+ years.

If I had to pick one desert island cigar it would be something Fuente Don Carlos.
