My name is Steve and I love cigars. Been married for 35 years, have 3 growd yunggins and 8 grandyunggins. Took up cigars about 1 1/2 years ago and found Poof.
I want to thank Herf for his hard work and effort to build us a new home. I missed you all.
I would also like to say thank you to the members of BOTL for graciously accepting a bunch of us to their forum after Puff went Poof.
Hey guys! I used to frequent Puff quite a bit, after the first outage I started to look more into the history of the site and the owner and got a little disenfranchised, after the second outage (august I think!?) I just gave it up and spent more time on a different board. I saw posted that Puff was dead and someone was starting up a replacement and wasn't too sure about it. Clicked over and saw it was Herf and Turf. Since Don is running the show, I'm back in! I used to have a pic of Smokey (University of Tennessee's mascot as my avatar) for those who may not remember me. I'm excited to see what a new place can be when it's built on the love of the leaf. The other board I migrated to is the same way and I love it! It's good to see some of you guys again.
Good day all, name is Troy and I too am a cigar junkie. Been enjoying quality cigars for 20 years now. Never thought of looking into cigar forums to share the passion with till last summer. Since finding them, I must say that my variety in cigars smoked has increased greatly. As well as my change over from multiple humidors and coolidor to a wineador and Coolidor.
Currently shopping for a China Cabinet to convert to a TEC large storage. Got the plans all figured out, just looking for the right unit to start my project.
Look forward to chatting cigars with you.
Hello all. My name is Jay. I had been an avid reader and occasional poster at Club Stogie/Puff for years. I was sorry to read that this last outage is terminal. I am glad that the many who provided knowledge, insight and entertainment will find a new home here. Thanks!
Hey, all old Puffer friends and new Bums!! I was active on Puff for a couple of years, but kind of dropped off in the last year or so (focused on family, and craft beer!); but I continued to enjoy cigars!
My grandfather smoked 13 Te-Amo or White Owl cigars a day while working; He lived a long, healthy and happy life! I have fond memories of him and his cigars, so I have a special connection to him through my cigar hobby.
I learned so much from the good and generous BOTL on Puff, so I am looking forward to reconnecting and meeting new Bums.
My tastes run the range of sizes and styles, but my go-to styles and sizes are in full-flavored robustos and bigger. Recently smoked one of those Asylum 8x80s! Whoa. Holy $#@*!!
Everyday sticks include Liga Undercrown, AB Black Markets, DPG CC and JJ Maduro; Bueso Genesis; JDN Antanos;
Special sticks include Liga UF-13 and Pigs; PSD #4 and Behikes; Camacho Triple Maddie...
Love hoppy beer and stouts and sipping rums (Zaya and Zacapa);
We usually gather out in the Doom Saloon--my converted garage--for cigars, music, mischief, and beer tastings.
Thanks Don, for getting this up and running!! It's Good to be back!
Hello all. My name is Chris and I am from Chatham, Ontario, Canada. I use to smoke cigarettes 20 years ago and the odd cigar. About 1 year ago I began smoking cigars again and just love it. I love the CC's but have also learned about a lot of NC's dealing with people on Puff. I am glad to have a new home and look forward to reaquainting myself with you guys.
Cheers.
