Hey kids,
just another transplant from puff. I felt I was finally starting to settle in and then it floated away; happy to see the tradition continued here.
Been smoking cigars infrequently for 20 years but only truly into the hobby for a few months. I've also picked up pipe smoking and only just starting to get the hang of it..... sorta.
Well about me, I'm married and father of two (5 & 8). Live in the Portland Metro area. Outside of smoking I enjoy beer, booze, wine, coffee/espresso, cooking, camping, bearding, android, movies, and bacon. Work in the metal fabrication industry; not a glorious job, but puts food on the table, roof over our heads, and beer in my belly. I actually don't enjoy long walks on the beach. My favorite color blue.. no wait yellow... aaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
Coming over from Puff also, my name is Blake. I live in east TN with my wife and 9 month old daughter. I like to smoke cigars while cooking on the grill, sitting by a fire or playing golf. Grad school right now at Ga Southern. Padron and Arturo Fuente are my two favorite brands and wanting to turn the corner to CC.
Look forward to being apart of the startup of this new forum.
Hats off to the guys who started this site. I've been in your shoes so hang in there.
Screen name OnePyroTec: Ends in a "c" because in early internet days 10 letter/numbers was the limit. And YES I DO get paid to be one...
Real name:Wayne was a founding member of Club Stogie which evolved into Puff...
I'm a huge fan of cigars & pipes in general. I was in internet retail sales for years. I have been known to roll my own cigars & make my own pipes. I'm the leading expert of my own opinion (stole that line and have always been looking to use it LMAO)

Sucks that we lost the wealth of knowledge that was Puff, but such is life. Those who migrate here will help rebuild the lost empire at least.
That said, I'm Rorick, another [s]victim of the Puff Revolt of 2015[/s] transplant from Puff. I'm, on the overall, a noob to this hobby. I smoked my first cigar in November and was hooked. When the freezing cold of December hit, I was driven to try a pipe. While another beast entirely, I'm learning to enjoy it as much, if not more, than cigars themselves. Glad to see the community rebuilding itself.
One question though: Will the pipe section be rebuilt as well?
Gotta throw in on the new Bums thread...Lots of familiar names makes me feel good that the best parts of the old forum are still around and I get the hang with them again!
