I can't imagine a reason I would need a funnel to move 1-4 oz from baggies to a jar. Even a tin would "pour" easy enough that a funnel would be overkill. Now if I was blending pounds of different tobacco, or grinding my smoke into a powder maybe that would call for some help controlling the pour. But, the small amounts I have, I can usually just shove the whole bag or pouch into the jar and call it good. Thanks for the tip though, I'll keep it in mind for later when I decide to try a little blending.
@Ropey ,
Apologies, my bad with no excuse other than I didn't read your original post correctly.
I 'read' pipe when you wrote jar.
You'd think I'd know the difference.

This brief discussion has truly been the best laugh I've had in a couple days.
Thanks gents!
Stupid question from a stupid man
Wow! That would save so much time for me! I've been using tweezers and taking it piece by piece and putting in the jar! No wonder it takes me a month to jar a tin of tobacco!
Thanks!!!
**sarcasm in good fun guys**
That canning funnel is a great idea. I fill my jars in a big baking pan so don't worry about tobacco spilling over so much.
