My opinion is based strictly on aesthetics - I like the looks of a nosewarmer. But not too small of one- don't want to look like I'm smoking the other evil weed

The pot shape - eeh, they just look like plumbing to me.
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.

Re: nose warmer. This is the shortest pipe that I own (about the same length as the poker that the OP likes):

And it's the only pipe that I own that consistently sends foul-tasting pipe juice into my mouth. Coincidence? Anyway, because of that, I seldom smoke it nowadays.

I really thought that I'd like this pipe. It has the broad, shallow bowl that I prefer, and nice thick bowl walls that stay cool -- important for a holder such as myself.

That's a sweet looking pipe.shame you have so much trouble with it.
I have a short Randy Wiley that @Pugsley sent me and a vest pipe that I enjoy quite a bit.I'm looking at pokers
and hope to find one that calls to me this summer,if not I'll be just as happy with the pipes I have.

That really sucks to have one like that and not enjoy smoking it.
    Caminetto pipes aren't cheap.

I love the look of nosewarmers, but I got rid of the only one I ever bought after the second time smoking it. I was enjoying some whiskey with my wife, smoking my stubby pot, when a relight set my moustache on fire. It took close to a year to grow it back to it's former glory.

So no more stubbies for me, I'm not licensed for them.
