Solani 633 "Virginia with Perique" has become my favorite VaPer. It doesn't have any aromatic character (a plus IMO), but it's a soft-smoking, tasty tobacco. Just finished a bowl about half an hour ago. And it has the prettiest tin label ever.

BTW – Your aromatic-smoking friend might not have any experience with flake tobacco. If you choose a flake for him, he might need some guidance.
