Tracking What I've Smoked
I'm kind of sick of using computers for everything.
Found a nice easy way to keep track of what I have smoked.

I transfer everything to jars and add a label with some tobacco info.
When I finish off the jar I transfer the masking tape to the inside of a cabinet in my basement.
I will probably add more info the longer I do this, as I find out what I want to know.
I call it Codger Excel.
Reminds me of something my Grandfather would have done.
Anybody else have a low tech tracking system?

I use a cigar journal. I've gone through 6 so far and keep them in a closet at home. I am not sure why I do, I've never gone back and looked at them

Not a very low tech activity but this is what I do.
I keep an excel file of when I got it and after smoking 3-4 bowls of it, I'll write a review of it and keep a copy of it in a different tab in the same Excel spreadsheet.
Back before they had personal computers, I used to keep index cards on the tobaccos I smoked to keep notes on impression and inventory. Also had index cards for my pipes, one for each.

I used to use a Moleskine journal. I would just tab a section for cigar and pipe stuff.
