My grandfather who's been in a loosing battle with Alzheimer was a pipe smoker when I was a kid. He gave it up many years ago but I still remember the smell of his pipe. Any time I've smelled a pipe burning since I was a kid it's always reminded me of spending summers with him. It's actually the main reason I've decided to get into pipe smoking is being that I'm over half the country away it somehow (strange I know) makes me feel like I'm not so far from home. He's really taken a turn since we moved west so in my mind he's still the witty, advice filled man I once knew and even though I'd give anything to be there it makes me wonder if I'm better off not seeing him on his downward slope. They're actually looking to see if they still have his old pipe for me, which I'll probably never smoke but would deeply cherish.

So to the point of my rambling I'm just wondering if anyone knows where a guy could track down some Amphora Red tobacco. I was able to find out that it wasn't Captain Black but Amphora red that was his go to smoke. I've checked with 4noggin and smokingpipes (2 known canadian friendly sites) and I don't see it on their sites. Does anyone know if it's still being made or where a guy could track some down?
