May Tobacco of the Month Nominations
Hey ladies and gents! I know this is a little late. Suffice to say the end of semester crunch has me by nape of the neck. I have not had much sleep the past two weeks and am looking forward to even less over the next two! But the semester is almost over!
Anyway, to business! Spring has finally sprung here in Western New York! The flowers are beginning to poke through the ground, the trees are budding, and my allergies are killing me. So in honor of Spring, let's nominate your favorite springtime tobacco. Or a tobacco that reminds you of spring.
As always, last month's runner up gets a second chance at glory:
Petersons Founder's Choice - This is one of the three new tobaccos known as the "Founders Collection" produced to honour Charles Peterson, Henry Kapp and Fredrick Kapp on Peterson's 150th anniversary in 2015. It is a mixture of Virginia, Burley and Oriental tobaccos pressed and cube-cut, then mixed further with Black Cavendish and flavored with Rum and the aromas of Mango and Vanilla.

I've just started smoking a blend for the very first time and am really enjoying it.
I'll nominate Rattray's Marlin Flake. It's nice and sweet with just the slightest hint of spice from the Perique.
I think it is an excellent spring time blend.
