Solani VaPer

I've been looking for a VaPer in the form of rectangular flakes. I cut my flakes into small squares, and it's a bit easier to do that with rectangular flakes. More importantly, rectangular flakes in a rectangular tin store much more compactly than coin flakes in a round tin – I'm getting low on space for cellaring.

The only candidate that I've found to date is "Solani Virginia Flake With Perique". What do you folks think of it? In particular, how does its taste compare to Escudo or Dunhill DLNR?

According to one review that I saw, it's topped with honey, and has less Perique than Escudo – both negatives in my book.

So another candidate tobacco – thanks for the suggestion! Less expensive than the Sobrani too. One question though: are the 50g tins the small size (like Capstan and Dunhill Flake) or large (like SG FVF)?

Same size as the FVF.
Orlik has the small 50g tins, but it only has a little bit of perique.
I think you might be able to find the little 50g square tins of Rattray's Marlin Flake at smokingpipes.com
