I've found the biggest factor in bowl moisture is stop smoking so danged fast, Bruck!

I don't smoke fast. Usually a MM pride bowl will last me 45 minutes.

It was recently a full-moon...coincidence?

It's happened too often lately to be coincidence. The only thing I can guess is that my technique has been improving over the winter, although it didn't show because it was so darn cold condensation was going to form no matter what. Now that it's warmer, the pipe isn't as cold so its not wringing out moisture like it did when it was cold out. Reinforcing this is the awful time I had trying to smoke during deer hunting this year. It was around 18 degrees out there and I could only get down to half a bowl before the remaining tobacco was too wet to burn.
