It's really pretty good stuff eh? I found that letting it sit out overnight has ridden it of much of the Lakeland snot I have been detecting in it. It also seemed to highlight a sugary cocoa topping a bit. Quality stuff, which is par for the course when it comes to GH&Co.

I might have another bowl of it...but on the other hand St. James Flake is kind of calling my name now...must be a VaPer kinda day.

I know all the product information states there is no topping on it...but it seems a lot like Carter Hall to me. A slight sugar and cocoa adding. I guess it could just be the Cavendish, but I am still skeptical.

It is a great blend though. Especially in a cob with some coffee
I find that the difference in palettes , difference in technics , and difference in enviroment makes a load of differing reviews. That's the best thing about this hobby of ours,no two are alike.I'm going to give the Mixture #79 a try one of these days, just cause y'all don't like it.

    Matthew,

Would you stick a fork in an electric socket because people say don't do it? Or press your hand onto the burner? At least have the decency to arrange for the disposition of your tobacco and pipes beforehand!

More 2015 Louisiana Flake in a Ser Jacopo Gemma Granato taper (stout) billiard with a silver/gold band that's inscribed with my name and the date that the boys at Jacopo made it for me, April 5th, 1983.

I'm going to add some mosquito corpses to the tobacco just to teach them critters a lesson (and maybe me too? Yes, I stuck the fork in a socket back in the day).

    .
Amazingly, I once blew up a steak knife by cutting into a lamp cord that was plugged in, also caught my balance by placing my hand on a red-hot burner (amazing spiral blister) so yes to both questions,,,And I do have a tobacco disposal plan, my son has laid claim to my pipes, humis, cigars, and pipe tobaccos. Not to mention my Chess sets. And for all here who I've come to view as family @EricS is my son and currently lives here with his SO and son, So I tend to share both my stashes with him. Although I've been a bit stingy and only gave him one pipe, a cheap chinese with a metal insert. So if that Mixture #79 is really that bad,,,,I'll give it to him. Teach him to raid my cellar.

Father's have to give tough love, no other way to learn. I respect your incidents with electricity and fire, well done.

Playing White, P-K4 and I offer a draw.

Part way through this bowl of amazingly delicious Peter Heinrichs Curly Block in a very early Ascorti straight New Dear KS billiard with a smooth shank.
