Now smoking D&R Two Timer in a 2015 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend tomato military mount with an aluminum accent, horn ferrule, and cumberland p-lip stem. I got samples of 14 D&R blends from the Raleigh pipe show, so they'll keep me busy for a while.

This is my 1,000 post. Sure got here pretty quick.

Just smoked some London Mixture. I have decided to make a regular rotation by choosing a Latakia blend, a Virginia or Vaper, a burley blend and Royal Yacht and try making myself smoke from the four jars rather than reaching for the RY every time. I will still smoke RY more often than the others.

Half a bowl of some crunchy scraps from a tin of Bell's Three Nuns I thought was empty. Should have just thrown it out

2007 Filmore in a 1980 Stanwell 668 medium bend with a ferrule, half black sandblasted, half brown smooth, rough top. Have enough left for a couple of bowls.

    Nachman,

Sounds like a plan, however, as you know, when it comes to pipes and smoking them, well, I wish you luck.

What a difference a clean pipe makes. Finally got around to cleaning a few pipes yesterday, one of which was my favorite flake pipe, a Peterson sterling silver mounted Spigot X105 straight fish tail. Popped a tin of aged FVF, cut a flake into 4 half inch pieces, dried it, twisted the sections and packed them in the bowl, and I'm now enjoying one of the sweetest smokes I've had in a long time.

Just finished smoking 4 Noggins Down By the River in a 2014 smooth medium bend Basil Meadows egg with an aluminum band and a "root beer swirl" acrylic stem. Next is the last of this sample of Reiner Long Golden Flake in a 2014 smooth quarter bend Basil Meadows horn.
