After a long delay between purchase and now due to a death in the family, I decided today was the day
I attempted packing with the frank method and results were, well I'm not really sure. Draw was very loose and it went out after about half the bowl. I am so new to this I really have no idea if I did things right or wrong, but I scraped off the ash and relit the unburnt tobacco and finished the bowl.
overall it was a pleasant experience, I did receive some harsh flavors due to I'm sure me puffing too fast or hard.
Im excited to try again!
My condolences for your loss of a family member. Who'd you lose?
Glad you enjoyed the pipe; hope you didn't burn your tongue.

Dessert was Mac Baren Plumcake. Thanks Pugsley! Slowest I've ever smoked; it has a real tight feedback loop. Long pull = bite. Short sip = heaven. Smoked it in a drugstore MM.

Lost my grandma after a short battle with liver cancer, 2 weeks after diagnosis. Thank you for the kind words.
I didn't burn my tongue, that portion of my smoke was very pleasant.
Let's go invent tomorrow instead of worrying about what happened yesterday.
