Smoked some MacBaren Bold Kentucky in a corn cob pipe. Holy Cow, that stuff is strong! Must have taken 30 minutes for my heart to settle back down.

First pipe without a filter. Draw is wide open, but I get lots of smoke. Just realized what I've been tasting is corn - it seemed salmon-y, then I remembered reading about breaking in a cob.

Yeah, it takes a few smokes to get the corn flavor out of one.

After a cluster f#*! of a day at work, a smoke and drink were just what the doctor ordered when I got home.
Weller Special Reserve and a bowl of C&D Haunted Bookshop in a Savinelli St. Nicholas 606KS that the good looking half got me for Christmas.
