Had some homemade rope from a batch I twisted in 2014. It's mellowed out quite a bit since then, but it's still... a rope

Is that a good or a bad thing?

Well, rope tobacco is an acquired taste, let's just say that. I have a couple commercial ropes and some homemade. Every now and again I'll get a hankering for some, but it's certainly not an everyday smoke.

When you make a twist, it does come out looking like a noose, or a nicely-coiled turd

Speaking only for myself, I enjoy the ropes and twists as much or as little as any other types I smoke. I like the variety more than I do any particular type of tobac. I don't smoke every day; it's been 3 days since I last had a bowl so I guess you'd say I don't like any tobacco as an every day smoke

It's not advisable to try an hang yourself with a turd. I think with turds, the accepted method is to 'eat shyt and die' ...and if you ate enough twist tobacco I believe you certainly would...

Puffing Capstan Medium (blue tin label) with nearly three years of age on it. I'd say more but it's too damned hot to type. We're not used to such heat in San Diego.
