Half way through this bowl of Edgeworth Slices in an old medium bend grain etched Preben Holm Ben Wade Prominence B freehand. Someone surprised me by sending me about three bowls worth!

Listing this a few minutes early: Rich Dark Flake in a 1998 smooth medium bend Peterson Limerick 69 with a nickel band. Running low on this stash now. Properly brewed coffee is my drink.

Scotch Flake Scented (aka, Aromatic)! Nice smoke, that! I've just opened another can of The "Royal Yacht" Mixture and have a fresh musketball burning in the less-than-regal Legend Forever. Looks as if we'll finish February without a single day above freezing. Damn Typhoon Nuri!!

Yes it is. I just bought some on IPSD based on the sample you sent me. There is no doubt that G&H has some of the finest tobaccos out there.

Listing this a couple minutes or so early: Paul Olsen St. Croix in a 2002 IMP smooth full bend egg shaped meer. This will finish the baggie.

What's the flavoring? I've smoked regular Scotch Flake and thought it already had some kind of topping. Seemed slightly chocolaty like tonquin bean or something.

Reaching for more GLP Meridian in a Big Ben dublin. Drinking my coffee the Irish way on this Friday morning, engines needed a little boost to make it into the weekend.

It is kind of a cocoa vanilla flavoring. I'm not sure if there is a difference or not. SmokingPipes only has Scotch Flake, Pipes and Cigars only has Scotch Flake Scented, and on TobaccoReviews there are only 2 reviews for Scotch Flake Aromatic. One is Freestoke's and the other is saying it is the same as regular Scotch Flake. I've never ordered regular Scotch Flake, so I don't know if it's different or not. I do know it is tasty, though.

It is not the same as Scotch Flake, which is more a straight, medium Va. I guess it's the Scotch Flake with cocoa-vanilla topping that makes it smell like a chocolate candy bar. It's really the most chocolate smelling tobacco I've encountered. Very fine tobacco! It's not really a "vanilla" aromatic, either, not enough vanilla to give it much of a room note.

An after-lunch helping of Marlin Flake. Just found the can in the bottom of the tobacco basket! Amazingly fresh, since it's still in the original plastic lidded container.
