Had a self-blend I made of approx 60% D&R Windsail (Bright VA), 30% D&R Two Timer (Burley) and 10% Perique. Pressed into a crumble cake in a little wooden mold I made. I was shooting for something that'd taste similar to C&D three friars. This is a bit spicier with more woody notes, but I like it fine. The pressing helps to deepen the flavors a little bit and marry things together (along with light hydration before hand). Pretty good in a cob. Flavor picks up about 1/4 of the way into bowl.

After my weekly fill of aged FVF, now puffing Wessex Classic Virginia. Such an excellent vaper. And getting ready to head out to Kaiserhof. They have such good soups. Last week it was liver dumpling. Their split pea soup is the best I've ever had. And yes I've had the famous Anderson's split pea soup in Buelton, CA.

Puffing Solani 779, English Luxury Mixture, in my elegant little Dunhill 2110 Liverpool (bruyere finish). It doesn't get any more English than that.
And thinking about lunch, which will feature sautéed cremini mushrooms.

McClelland 2020 matured cake in a Sasieni 2nd, Old England, sitting around what is probably our last time around the fire pit until this fall. Fireflies are starting to come out, but so are the mosquitoes.

A bowl of R.O. Firestorm in a Grabow Golden Duke. Wasn't feeling it today. I think it was the pipe.

I have been really enjoying these tobaccos and BB1938 is one of my favorites. This evening smoke is quite delicious and I am topping it off with a small glass of Costco's Kirkland brand of spiced rum which is absolutely delicious; needless to say that I am very relaxed after a busy day.
I loaded up on Dunhill tins during that sale; have never seen such good prices on tins, especially with the 20% off!
Smoking an early morning smoke of HH Vintage Syrian in a straight Guildhall billiard. Going in to work at 6:00 today in order to get my field work done when it is cool.

Puffing Solani Aged Burley Flake. I don't know how much age Solani puts on it, but I put an additional year on top of that. It's good stuff.

A Solani kind of day for me. First, 633, Virginia with Perique. Then 656, Aged Burley Flake. Now 779, English Luxury Mixture. All good stuff.
