Red Rap in the big ol' General. Only lasted half the day. G&H flakes last a day and a half, what a difference in burn rate.

Puffing Solani 656, Aged Burley Flake in my Kirsten Mariner. Its rich, chewy flavor is so different from the light, crisp Virginias and VaPers that comprise the rest of my tobacco rotation.
I have 22 tins in stock, and ordered 25 more yesterday evening. Yeah, I like this stuff!

Well it's been a long week here, busy at work and home. Then a spot of a bug put me down.
First time in years that a bug got the best of me. Anyhow, I finally got a few bowls in today.
Started with some comfort smoke, Captain Black original in my Castillo. Followed up with
Oriental Blend in a MM cob. Don't want to push things, I'm still feeling a bit light headed
from the bug, and would rather keep good memories of smoking.

The last of this tub of Heine's Blend in the third pipe I ever bought ($1.95), a 1974 smooth straight French briar Hadley Apple with a black vulcanite stem. Took a long time to smoke it up, but I managed!
