It's been one of those days. Between the clogged drain in the kitchen, the unexpected, (and unwelcome), visit from a very drunk neighbor, and the blue screen of death on my laptop that required almost an hour of running utilities and tests to recover from, I was in a fairly crappy mood. When I finally got the chance to sit down and have a pipe I went through my open tins and couldn't find anything I wanted to smoke. So I decided one more open tin wouldn't mean the end of the world and I popped a 5 year old tin of Hal O' The Wynd, one of the greatest tobacco blends ever created. I loaded up a Mark Tinsky rusticated bent bulldog, put a match to it, and the clouds parted, the angels sang, and I'm in heaven.

Dang it Pugsley you have definitely had a trying day and I can understand how nice it is to have that wonderful pipe to bring back balance to this chaotic world.

I went out to drop off laundry and have lunch. Lamb moussaka and a side of sautéed mushrooms – both excellent. It was cafeteria style, so I could have as much of each as I wanted. I don't think that the Greeks put Tabasco sauce on moussaka, but I do.

Now puffing Escudo in my metal stem can-smoke-it-everyday Kirsten Mariner.
    Cognition?
    On.
