I had a loooong smoke of the last of a sample of Balkan Sasieni in a Peterson standard this morning and afternoon. Got distracted and set it down numerous times. This blend is very similar to PS proper English, although the Sasieni is (I think) a bit more complex and flavorful. The Proper English is a perfectly good substitute though, and with a little age I suspect will be just as good (not to mention much cheaper).
Some homemade flake in a briar. It's my flake batch 32: Mostly VA: bright, red, and lemon; small amounts of burley, MD 609, prilep, and imzir. Cased w/ DW and rum/vanilla. We like, is good.
Almost finished smoking Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a 1982 smooth straight Dunhill Root Briar 31051.

Needed more perique, so I'm smoking SG Cabbie’s Mixture in a 1970s slight bend Caminetto business 134 poker with a gold colored acrylic stem.
