Sounds weird. I realize Pipes and Cigars calls it Louisiana Perique Flake, but it has always been simply Louisiana Flake to me. Isn't that what "Louisiana" is supposed to imply, perique? I mean, it's not St. James Perique Flake. Smoking Rattray's answer to LF, Marlin Flake.

Now smoking the best durn tobacco in the world: Strang in a 1999 medium bend black sandblast Savinelli Tris 677KS apple with a cumberland stem. My last smoke was rather unsatisfactory, so I needed something very good to smoke. Unfortunately, I'm running low on this great tobacco now.
Currently sucking the smoke out of some homemade flake through a cob. Peach/latakia blend.

On first lighting I got hit with a momentary light skunkiness which was unexpected. Anyone else ever notice that? (Not that skunkiness is a bad thing; it is a virtue in some beers and other smokable plants)
