Broke out a bit of my whiskey kake. I'm realizing that the ingredients I used were a bit inferior but given some weeks to breath the blend has become smokeable, no doubt. If it had a touch more body I think I'd be happy with it.
When finished it'll be time for Newminster 403. Tasty!
Hopefully everyone has a nice weekend planned. I have my wife's side of the family intruding - ahem - visiting tomorrow for a gift exchange, and then, despite there being not a single snowflake in sight and temps hitting the unseasonably high upper 50s, I'll pack my wife and a Thermos of my Parisian-inspired hot chocolate into the car so that we can drive around at look at the Christmas lights.

Packed a big bowl of Stokkebye's Dutch slices this morning, on the way to rushing out the door to fill in with a friend cutting timbers (his business partner couldn't make it). I like this stuff, it's a nice strength level, and tasty (good outdoors too).
