St. James Flake in a straight sandblasted pre-transition Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver band and military bit.

My good friend and well known biographer and playwright, Joan Schenkar, wrote this stunning piece about the immediate aftermath in Paris: DISPATCH FROM A WAR ZONE: Three Days of Official Mourning in Paris | New York Social Diary

2015 Mixture "B" in a 1986 Ser Jacopo Renaissance #107 taper billiard with water naturally chilled (like outdoors).

It's unlike me not to have mentioned it before, especially in it's tragic scope, but I smoke this bowl is to honor the French people.

My thoughts are with the families of those who were killed and wounded and I hope that this latest atrocity will force the politicians off their easy chairs and into action.

This is a link to a list of IS terror attacks. It's a hard, but I feel necessary read, that puts into perspective the singular goal of these animals.

    Vive la France!!

    Edit:
I must have been writing my post when you posted yours Jim (@JimInks). I think it's taken me a few days to absorb what transpired and my feelings are similar to those after the 9/11 attacks. This is a beautiful link, I meant to THANK rather than LIKE your post. Don't miss reading it because this is what we, as a people, stand to lose. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for posting the link, Jim. I look forward to reading that piece later. Joan's a wonderful writer.

Had a second bowl of Capstan today. Each lasted two hours in the Wessex Cumberland, and were pure flavor until the very end. If the blender were alive today, I'd kiss him.
