Just finished smoking D&R Three Sails in a 2003 Stanwell Golden Danish 56 Rusticated Canadian. Next is MacBaren Virginia #1 in a late '90s half smooth/half etched freehand sitter, medium bend Nielsen Viggo.
Puffin on some Lane Burley Light without a Bite (or something like that). I wouldn't normally go for an aromatic burley, but a dude from work gave it to me - not too bad, really.
JFG Brown Flake in a Glass Sipper, followed by a B&M "mystery" Navy Flake in a Savinelli 101. I suspect it's a MacBaren blend based on appearance, flavor & how my tongue feels afterwards.

Now to make up for lost time! Smoking the last of this stash of St. James Plug in a straight sandblasted pre-transition Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver band and military bit.

A short time ago I finished off the last of my aged tins of Classic Burley Kake. Tonight I had my second bowl from a fresh tin. I have always loved this blend, but what I smoked tonight bore no resemblance to the Burley Kake I've enjoyed for so many years. The topping was just overwhelming, growing in intensity as the smoke progressed, one of the worst things I've smoked in a long time. I couldn't taste the burley at all. What happened to this blend? Did I just get a bad tin or has the recipe been changed to the cloyingly sweet tobacco I had tonight?

Couldn't sleep, so I smoked Angler's Dream in a 2001 Karl Erik Ekstravagant A medium bend with a pointy bottom and a wide top. Can't go fishin', so I'll try sleepin' again.

Part way through this bowl of C&D Virginia Flake in a 1980 Stanwell 668 medium bend with a ferrule, half black sandblasted, half brown smooth, rough top.
Currently on my 2nd bowl of a clever little mix of VA Gold Cherry Cavendish, Daughters and Ryan 3 Sails, and whole leaf latakia, in proportions of approximately 1/3, 1/2, and 1/3, respectively (watch someone complain about my math :))
