I just buy St James Flake at half the price. It is the same thing, sliced, and you will have to slice the plug to smoke it. Some say the plug ages a little differently, but unless your taste buds are world class, you won't be able to tell the difference.Quote:

I can tell a little difference because the plug does age a little differently, but it's not a major change by any means, and certainly not enough to justify paying $100 pound, plus overseas shipping.Quote:

This evening I am starting off with a bowl of SG Medium Virginia Flake in my extra large no name PickAxe freehand.:pipe: This has been a very busy day for me and it is so good to be finally sitting down to my evening pipe. My Medium Virginia Flake is a vintage from 2011 and is especially delicious this evening.:chicken: I am topping off this smoke with a large mug of homemade lemonade which "hits the spot".:fly:
