What Did You Smoke Today? (Pipe Edition)

I'm back at the Kendal Kentucky well this morning. Happily.

I'm not sure that it will supplant Condor as my #2 favorite soapy blend, but the cost of importing Condor has to be weighed when making that claim. Seriously, Kendal Kentucky is great and I should have realized it sooner. Yet another tip of the hat to Jim aka @freestoke who has much better taste than I do.

Navy flakes can be pretty good chaw, but yes, I can see straight VA being a little too bitter. Ya gotta have some flavor. Once I tried some of my heavy latakia flake as chaw while mowing. Yeah, it wasn't good and to make matters worse it started breaking apart and floating around in my mouth. I gagged a couple times while trying to spit it all out <:/ Looking back, I probably should have ripped some shreds off the side of the flake instead of cutting a piece off the end.

I've chewed a piece of HH Old Dark Fired before. It wasn't very good either but it wasn't as bad as this. It got real slimy though which was kinda gross.

Looking forward to a bowl of @NeverBend 's Einstein later in the day :) :)
I pity you folks who haven't had the opportunity to try it :D

Was going to ask what Blood Meridian (aside from a CM novel) was until I thought the better of myself and used the forum's search function.

Note to newbies: the search function is there, and it works. It saved me from the humiliation of asking a question that was answered very thoroughly in its own thread, and instead gave me the opportunity to humiliate myself with this inane post.

Just finished smoking Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in an old medium bend grain etched undated Preben Holm Ben Wade Prominence B freehand.

Troost Slices in an egg shaped medium bend smooth Burgundy colored 1985 Caminetto.

Marlin Flake in a 2015 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend tomato military mount with an aluminum accent, horn ferrule, and cumberland p-lip stem.

Just finished smoking MacBaren Symphony in a very ugly reddish color 1980 medium bend Lorenzo Leganza Sigma 8635 etched rough top.

Newminster Superior Navy Flake in a 1980s Peterson 314 Full Bend black Sandblast system pipe.
