What Did You Smoke Today? (Pipe Edition)

Listing this early: Peter Stokkebye 80 Norwegian Blend in an old grain relief, partly smooth full bend "V" shape bowl Ben Wade Prominence freehand with the letter A and the numeral 2 in circles.

Just finished smoking Condor Ready Rubbed in an undated fancy designed tall, thin bowl medium bend Waren Zeichen Viennese Coffeehouse Bombay clay with a white acrylic stem.

Time for a short smoke: Vincent Manil La Brumeuse Semois in a straight 2012 MM Pony Express cob.

Heine's Blend in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega.

We need to talk about making flakes. I'd love a semi-authoritative PM describing your trials and tribulations so that I may try my hand at it! Or, is it as simple as filling a box with tobacco and putting a heavier box on top? What about moisture? How long must it stay compacted? So. Many. Questions!

Started the day off reading about the history of House of Windsor and various other PA-based pipe & cigar manufacturers. I probably should have been doing real work. Either way, I'm now just finishing brewing a big cup of some sort of black, malty, English tea, and I'll be putting fire to Kendal Kentucky in the Brebbia my wife bought for me a few Christmases ago.

I'll bet Bruck would trade with ya. He hit me with samples of his flakes and some home rolled Brohibas that were shockingly delicious.

Figured I'd try a chew of Newminster 400 Flake since I probably won't have the opportunity for a smoke today.
I wouldn't try this at home boys and girls. It's not very good.
Taste is slightly fruity but mostly dry tasting and somewhat astringent.
The dominant flavor is like having a mouthful of dry straw, although more bitter and not as prickly.

G&H ropes make far better chew than this stuff.

Just finished smoking Edward's Bishop Burley in a tan etched medium bend 2001 Rinaldo Sahara 2 Acorn round at the shank, pointy at the opposite top.

Part way through this bowl of Ogden’s Walnut in a 2002 medium bend smooth Rinaldo EGEA 03 Silver line spigot 10.
