Now you have me worried my memory's failing me.
I'm guessing it's white burley, not white VA. I'll check my notes in the AM when I'm back at the office.
I only tend to really notice PG when it's been laid on thick. The only flavored components available to me come from Sutliff and their stuff arrives practically dripping wet with it. I do get an "off" taste from their aros.
To keep this on track: I'm sitting here contemplating my feeble brain while puffing on some 15 year old Arcadia in a nice big McCarter craggy egg.

If anyone here is planning on spearheading a Strang import, count me in. I'm on a "baby's more important than tobacco" budget but I'll make an exception for something unique like said blend.

On my 2nd cobful of a blend (mixture, really) I just made from some leaves that just arrived from Larry, a grower in KY - Silver River, plus some perique, turkish imzir, and latakia (lat not from Larry). It's not too bad - spicy, smoky, slightly sweet, but a little cigaretty; next time I think I'll omit the imzir.
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.

Halfway through a 2005 H. Upmann Mag 46. Back from a four day trip to DC, feels good to hit the porch.

Make that two! I'm checking into this currently also.
