Good old HH Old Dark Fired with my favorite peanut butter porter.
Milan Tobacconists King's Ransom. Pretty good sweet English, hint of spiciness, all of which is superfluous as it doesn't appear on their website anymore and this is my last bowl of it.
Smoked a couple of bowls of Five Brothers tonight in a Dunhill Root Bamboo-shank billiard.

Popped this today.
Couldn't wait till Christmas!

Rattray's Hal o the Wynd in my Savinelli Champagne bulldog.
Puffing “The Mallard” (Dan Tobacco) in my Tinsky brandy. TM is a pretty darned good straight Virginia — very flavorful. The chamber of this brandy is rather pot-like — fairly broad, not too deep.
Weather has been sh*t lately, we are about 15 degrees under average so I haven't been out smoking as much. This the Luxury twist flake from @Hardheaded in a Grabow color duke.

Round 1 was a bit earlier, round 2 now with Lane BCA in a Mastercraft. Says custom made algerian briar from France.

Puffing F&T Vintage in my Caminetto pot with silver spigot mount. This little pot has little discernible grain, but the uniformity of its smooth finish has an appeal of its own.
Hape everyone had a great Thanksgiving feast! And a great after-dinner pipe!
The hot bar at my grocery had the usual Thanksgiving offerings, but I opted for a non-traditional choice: two 5oz packages of goat milk cheese. I love that cheese!
Now puffing Patriot Flake in my old Kirsten.
Smoking some D&R Two Timer in a Dunhill bent.

Puffing F&T Vintage in my Mark Tinsky billiard. Going down exceptionally well this morning!
Most of Tinsky’s pipes are bent and/or too capacious for me. I was very lucky to find two of his pipes (this one and the brandy) that are perfect for me. And at such a good price.
Thanks for the suggestions! But we have different tastes. I don’t have a sweet tooth at all. I ate the goat cheese absolutely unadorned — the way I like it best.
And I like oaky Chardonnays. In particular, the Hess Collection Monterey.

Oh I don't know about that. I see you smoking lots of Virginias. I don't see how a guy could smoke so much Virginia tobacco without some sort of a sweet tooth :pipe:
Burned a cobload of Sam G, Navy Flake earlier today.
Now I'm smoking G&H, Rum Flake. This tastes cardboardy after the Navy Flake. Must have burley in this blend.
Carter Hall in a Morgan Bones Stubby 20 with morning coffee (Muse Coffee Company Martin Luther)
For sure I’m a Virginia guy. But to me, Virginias taste savory, rather than sweet. Right now I’m puffing The Mallard (Dan Tobacco) in my old Kirsten. I discovered this straight Virginia only a few weeks ago. It’s mild, but has a remarkably rich flavor. Wish that I’d known of it sooner.
Having a bowl of Peterson Irish Flake with a cup of coffee.
I love this stuff in the morning and mid day.
Bowl of Sam Gawith, Chocolate Flake went well with the .308 for a little armed smoking with my daughter this afternoon. Saw 3 doe. Actually 1 doe and 2 fawns probably - judging by the size. Unfortunately nothing to shoot at.
This evening I am starting off with a bowl of Penzance in my Savinelli EX 606.:pipe: I went out with my nieces on "Black Friday"; I did not do any shopping myself, but they wanted me to "hang-out" with them and it was really fun. This evening I am staying put. I am really enjoying this Penzance; outside of great flavor, I find that I never need to dry it out.:thumb: I am topping off this smoke with a large mug of "Guinness Draught" brew while listening to accounts of people missing in the national forests; Dang-it, I was planning to go hiking before Christmas!:vis:
ERR Match in a baraccini poker
Smoking a bowl of my first homemade flake in a Bari billiard. Was trying to make something like Stonehaven with this flake but it came out tasting more like Five Brothers!
Another bowl of Sam G, Navy Flake in a cob. Hot coffee with cream to go with it.
Loaded a bowl of petrified Erinmore Flake with a few leftovers of SG Navy Flake added in. This is probably going to be less than stellar....
Bullseye flake, finally got above 40 here for the first time in a few weeks.

Smoking another bowl of homemade flake scraps in a Sunrise Apple.
Finished this last night as I still had half a bowl left over from the previous day. Wasn't as bad as I'd expected. Sunday, although the Erinmore was like tree bark, I could still taste some of the Juicy Fruit topping, which surprised me. What else surprised me was that, although this blend undoubtedly contains burley, it didn't come off as cardboardy to me. Last night, the topping had pretty much disappeared and I was left with a fairly decent tasting blend of seemingly pure tobacco; not harsh at all like I was expecting, although it had picked up a whisp of pepper... which I found enjoyable.
So there you have my petrified, day-old Erinmore review... Is there a badge for that?

Just finished a bowl of Lane BLWB in a Genod apple.
Just started a bowl of D&R Picayune in the same pipe.
I just opened a tin of Dunhill Navy Rolls. Puffing that now in my little Caminetto red pot. Navy Rolls and coffee — sounds like a pleasant mid morning break in the ship’s mess.
Enjoying an unscheduled day off. Freezing rain all but shut down the roads and potato chips aren't worth my life. Some H&H egg nog in the mr. Brog churchwarden paired with some David's Tea salted caramel

Immediately after a fill of Dunhill Navy Rolls, I’m now puffing Wessex Classic Virginia. The object being to compare these two vapers. I’ve done this many times before. As usual, the Wessex gets the nod. That’s despite the fact that the Wessex is less expensive. I like its form better too — loose tobacco rather than coins. But the DNR is good too.
