Had a little fresh Marlin Flake in an old Grabow this morning.

How old is it?
I've got some with which I had the same experience. It has been aging in the cellar a couple years now.

I think 6 months or so. They were the flakes left over that I did not manage to fit into the jars when I bought it. I have some left of each of them that I have been working off of. So far I prefer LNF and LBF to the LTF. We will see what a year or more of age will do.
Mcclelland 2015 Virginia/Perique Flake in my Rogers Town & Country Rhodesian.
Just had a bowl of Milan King's Ransom, which is a mild English, quite nice. This must be a rare on as it has no review by @JimInks on TobaccoReviews.com :)
Got a cobload of SPC Mississippi River smoldering while out on the river today. Seemed appropriate.
Also have a backup cob loaded with G&H Louisiana Flake which I might get to later.
Tilbury in a DE tradesman pipe
Some 5100 Red Cake. I did not like this much when I first tried it. Of course I like it now that its discontinued and mine is almost gone.
Some Carter Hall in my Dr. Grabow Lark. I have some Bob's Choclate flake drying for later.
Oh, @AlanS , I'm good on the Gurkhas. I hear Tony could use some, especially the nice 60+ rg ones.
Just finished off a couple cobfuls of Milan Chartwell - nice smooth flavor. Technically an English but the Latakia was subtle. No bite, no gurgle - good stuff :)
I opened a 4 yo tin of Dunhill Flake yesterday, puffing that now in my ancient Kirsten Mariner. Very fine tobacco, it is. No topping on this stuff.
Solani 639, Tropical Mango Flake, is intensely aromatic. I can’t stand it straight, but a mixture of 85% Dunhill Flake and 15% TMF is very tasty. Puffing that now in my ancient Kirsten Mariner.
Working on a bowl of Happy Bogie in a small Savinelli billiard
My jar of Wessex Classic Virginia went empty, so I opened another 50g tin and refilled the jar. I always have some of this tobacco at the ready. Mostly rubbed out red Virginia with a bit of perique.
Forgot to mention — smoking it now in my Radice Rhodesian.
PS Luxury Bullseye Flake in my sandblasted Savinelli Bing's Favorite.
I also had a little PS bullseye flake.
Also jarred up a few loose jars I had hogging up space on the shelf. Don't want them to dry out, especially the 3Oaks!

Another bowl of Happy Bogie in the Savinelli
A bowl of G&H Kendal Kentucky.
MOAR Happy Bogie in the Savinelli
Felt so congested yesterday I didn't smoke a thing. That's pretty uncommon for me.
Sinuses are much clearer today, so I'm enjoying some FVF on my lunch break.
Puffing Solani 656, Aged Burley Flake, in my aluminum stem Kirsten Mariner. For some reason ABF is usually better in my conventional briars, but it’s going down quite nicely today.
Puffing Fribourg & Treyer Cut Virginia Plug in my dear old Kirsten Mariner. Lots of rich flavor, both from the excellent tobacco and the delicious flavoring. TobaccoReviews has it as “Flavoring: None Detected”. I laugh.
Of all the F&T tobaccos, this is the one that’s most frequently “Currently Out of Stock” at SmokingPipes.
Some Dorchester in a Grabow Starfire.
We had the Knoxville Pipe Club Meeting last week last week and I got to try some new blends. The first one was a blend developed by Smoky's Tobacco and Cigars; it is called "Smoky's Flake and Perique". Dave was trying to fill a niche vacated by the closing of McClelland and came up with this blend. It is great! So good that I bought a pound of it. The production of the blend is labor intensive - one of the components, Virginia Flakes, is rubbed out by hand by store employees.
Another new one that I tried was Russ Oullette's Acadian Gold - this is a unique blend where they give some Virginia tobacco the same treatment that they use for making Perique, only they don't ferment and press it quite as long due to the high sugar content of the Virginia. This was a good smoke, very different and interesting in flavor. Being a limited edition at PipesandCigars.com, I ordered five tins of it for the cellar.
Some more Dorchester, still in that Grabow Starfire.
Puffing Solani 113, Sweet Mystery, in my old Kirsten Mariner. An aromatic that I kinda like. Occasionally.
Hanging out with a friend who is leaving the state.
Drinking homebrew, and smoking 3 Oaks Syrian and Esoterica Dorchester.
Burning up a bowl of Sweet Rum Twist (G&H of course) in a gourd calabash.
PS LNF in a cob. I think I like the LBF the most with this being second. I will of course have to smoke more to be sure. You know, for science.
Well school is back in full swing.
So, I'm enjoying my first bowl at nearly 11:00 p.m.
It's Dunhill Elizabethan in my Savinelli Punto Oro Mr. G.
A bowl of Dunhill Nightcap in a Capri pot that I picked up at a semi-local pipe shop last summer. My first try of Nightcap, or any english blend really.
Burning a bowl the Mayor's Chocolate Flake in a Rattray's cherrywood.
Having a cup of coffee and a bowl of a 50/50 mix of C&D Autumn Evening and Prince Albert.
Smoked a decent size bowl of G&H Louisiana Flake in a sanblasted bent billiard last evening while reading a book.
I’ve been off the board for awhile — busy cramming for an important test. No fun.
Earlier today I opened a tin of Dunhill Navy Rolls — very fine tobacco. Now puffing a fill of Wessex Classic Virginia in my Caminetto pot.

This vaper is bearing up well in comparison to the NR. It’s less expensive too, but hard to find “in stock”. But five tins are on the UPS truck for delivery today. :)
Tested out my recently-refinished Mastercraft Handmade with some Sutliff Voodoo Queen.
Had a couple bowls of Prince Albert today in the truck to and from school.
Had a bowl of Dunhill Elizabethan Mixture when I got home.
Now enjoying some SG Cabbie's Mixture, which will probably be my last bowl of the day.
McClelland 3 Oaks Syrian in my Savinelli Trevi 320.
Such a special tobacco! I have one more tin in the cellar, and will miss it greatly.
Newminster 400 navy flake in a Kaywoodie. first smoke in a while. been super busy, freaking out, etc. nasal snuff has been giving my nose a work out but needed to get back into the pipe to ground me a bit!
