Keep us posted, I’d like to smoke a great bowl or cigar to toast your new gig!

PS LBF just kinda crammed into a cob. I forgot I bought this and some LTF a few months back.
Puffing F&T Blackjack in my Luciano squat bulldog. The least expensive conventional briar I own, but the sweetest smoking.
I generally prefer tapered bits for bulldogs, but the saddle bit looks just right on my squat bulldog.
Going to have a bowl of C&D three friars this afternoon.
I just opened another tin of Hamborger Veermaster. As usual, the flakes are welded together to form a solid plug. I had to dig some free with my thumbnail. The tobacco is sufficiently good that I won't complain though. :)
Some of the sweeter G&H flakes do that. Glengarry flake is one in particular. That's when I use a razor blade to slice a few 3/16 thick loaves off the end of the chunk and then crumble those up into a cube cut. I like cube cuts anyway.
Let the dogs out tonight, my Medico Guardsman and Yello-Bole bulldogs.Smoking
LL Dark Red.Had a bowl of LL Butternut Burley in my Lunar dublin.
Last night I had a bowl of Smoker's Pride Rich Taste in my old beat-up MM Country Gentleman with a Forever stem. I'm really pleased with this no-frills Burley/Virginia blend and I got it for $8 a pound. I imagine it will be good for blending as well.
Smoking a bowl of 1/2 PS Amsterdam and 1/2 D&R Ramback in a Sunrise Amber Grain Dublin.

Puffed an old Grabow off and on while doing some wood workery yesterday afternoon. War Horse ready rubbed was the weed. This is a decent blend but it doesn't really turn my crank. There's none of that cardboard burly taste and it doesn't bite so that part I enjoy, however there's no citrus to speak of either and I don't taste the alleged anise topping at all. P&C sent me this in error - I had ordered he WH Bar but figured I'd give it a try. It might grow on me. Still haven't tried the Bar...
If you like citrus, try F&T Blackjack. It's a ready rubbed Virginia. No need for drying -- it's good to go right out of the tin.
Puffing an after-lunch fill of Hamborger Veermaster. Going down exceptionally well!
My after lunch desert was two slices of garlic ciabatta toast, drizzled with California Olive Ranch Arbequina EVOO. That went down exceptionally well too. I just don't have a sweet tooth -- prefer good bread to any cake.
Irish Flake in my Sav silver band was....glorious. As it always is.
Puffing Wessex Classic Virginia. Dunhill Navy Rolls and Solani 633 are my favorite VaPers, but this VaPer is pretty darned close. And it has the ready-rubbed convenience, and is less expensive to boot. It's good stuff.
Had a wonderful bowl of OGS in my Ehrlich lovat pope. Haven’t smoked this pipe in over a year, I missed it.
Now some 2012 mixture 965 blended with 2012 nightcap and a pinch of 2012 holiday blend by C&D. Nice combo in my Viling Bent.
First smoke of the day is PS Amsterdam in a grp 4 Dunhill Bruyere billiard with an oval shank. Drinking Maxwell House Colombian coffee and getting ready to go to work.
First time trying Smokers pride mellow, which is not bad at all for 7.99 a pound on special. pretty OTC flavor profile but with much more bright virginia (more than any OTC I can think of). low nicotine which is nice as these days I do not maintain a high nicotine tolerance at all. I smoked it in a briar and suspect it would be better in a cob. Very cheap long term tobacco security, I now have 3 pounds of the rich taste and 3 of the mellow taste.
Some Solan’s black and white in my Wiebe custom pipe. Good
Smoking some Missouri Meerschaum Country Gentleman tobacco in an Ascorti billiard after dinner.

Waking up with a bowl of PS Amsterdam in a Dr. Grabow Grand Duke.

Just opened another tin of Solani 633, Virginia with Perique. This, and Dunhill Navy Rolls, are my favorite vapers. The two are entirely different though -- can't name one as best. Glad I have both.
Coyote classic in my biking bent
Tsuge raijlin in my Wiebe
Nightcap in my ehrlich lovat
A bowl of nightcap in my meer then a bowl of penzance in my baraccini Rhodesian
Puffing Hamborger Veermaster in my venerable Kirsten Mariner. This mild Virginia goes very nicely with Nespresso Roma, a medium-roast Arabica-Robusta blend.
Smoking a little bowl of MacBaren HH Vintage Syrian in a Sunrise Featherweight apple. The shank cracked on this pipe and I sent it in to Norwood's and he said that the band that fit it was the smallest size band made for pipes.

After a deliciously filling, quick "meal" of sardines in Tabasco sauce, greek yogurt, tortilla chips, peanut butter, milk and cookies, I'm thinking fondly of a dark beer or two and a big bowl of Sweet Rum Twist
Old dark fired in my new stanwell billiard, good smoke
2012 Ashton Artisan Blend in the Viking
Rather a gloomy day here in San Diego. Trying to brighten it up with the Solani 633 vaper in my Luciano squat bulldog. It helps.
Ha! King Oscar are the ones I had too. Nice and firm and not too fishy smelling (tho the cat goes nuts when I crack a tin). I had the Mediterranean seasoned sardines in olive oil. I doused them with Tabasco and ate them from the tin. I also like them over a layer of cream cheese on a big slice of dark rye, also smothered in Tabasco... or, to shake things up, sometimes I'll whip up a couple tablespoons of hot Chinese mustard and cut the Tabasco back to just a drop here and there for flavor.
Going to dry out a serving of PS Navy Flake. Great blend once it ages a bit. Not so great fresh imo...
Started earlier with Capstan Blue in my Dunhill Dublin
Now smoking LL Dark Red.I'm on my sixth bowl for the day,I think.
Might be seventh, but I can't count that high.
Frog Morton on the Town (sent to me by @Tobias Lutz ) in a MM Patriot, and Maxwell House with Whisper Creek
Just finished a bowl of MacBaren Vintage Syrian in an old grp. 4 Dunhill billiard.
Puffing Hamborger Veermaster in my venerable Kirsten Mariner. Love this mild Virginia flake. But of the half dozen tins that I've opened, only one had flakes that could be separated. The rest had a plug of flakes welded together. Had to gouge some out with my thumbnail.
Check out this Christmas photo of a girl smoking a pipe (at the top of the page):
