Thanks Pete! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well :)

I just opened a tin of Escudo with good age on it. Old reliable.
G&H Rum Flake in a big ol' MM General with bamboo shank, cherrywood heel and knock-off forever stem.
Next day: Mac Baren Virginia #1 in the same pipe.
Half a bowl of fresh haunted bookshop in my oldest Legend. Haven't smoked in a couple weeks, but I wanted to try some of this since C&D has changed the cut of their ribbon blends. Tastes the same as any fresh HB I've had, pretty much. good.
I went to my son's for Thanksgiving dinner, and took
a tin of Out Of Office Gone Fishing with me.The blend
is a caramel topped aro. I've never tried a caramel
topped blend, and my son had not had a "new" tin
before. So after having a bit of a laugh watching
him try to open it, I then educated him and we
proceeded to smoke a little over half the tin before
getting yelled at for not socializing. It's a good after
dinner smoke,kind of sweet.Great with a strong
black coffee.
To day though, I'm on a "diet", EGR in my
Bulldogs. And of course more COFFEE .
Had some McClelland 40th Anniversary in a Savinelli Champagne bulldog.
Puffing Wessex Classic Virginia, an excellent ready rubbed VaPer. And sipping Nespresso Ristretto, a dark roast blend of Arabica & Robusta. Life is good!
Smoking a bowl of Daughters & Ryan Ramback in a Colossals billiard that I got on Ebay; it just came in the mail yesterday. It was pretty dirty; took almost a dozen pipe cleaners to get the airway clean. Then I reamed it and had to sand down the tenon a little bit because it wasn't the original stem and fit too tightly (was afraid I'd crack the shank). Also took out the metal condenser that was restricting the air flow.
You guessed it, more Dunbar! This tin is getting low, so I'll soon switch to something else. I just can't think of anything else I'd rather smoke right now.
I need to up my efforts to get a bag (or 3) of this, at some point.
Just opened another tin of F&T Blackjack, my favorite ready rubbed straight Virginia. This stuff has good citrus.
Longbottom leaf in my homemade pipe.
If you've not made your own pipe yet, the predrilled kits are cheap and smoke fine.
Enjoying a bowl of G&H Sweet Rum Twist in an old Grabow alongside a Cheboygan Blueberry Cream Ale.
After going a couple months without any, I had to open a tin of McClelland Red and Black on my lunch break.
My goodness, I remember now why I like it so much. This stuff is wonderful.
Having another bowl of Sweet Rum Twist, this time with a half-finger of Bacardi Black to accompany
Started my evening with LL 125th Anniversary in my Klean-Draft apple pot
Followed up with Warhorse Green in my DG Savoy, might just have to repeat this one.:yes!::pipe:
My Warhorse Bar finally came in. Been wanting to try it since I'm partial to plugs & ropes for some reason. I'm hoping it's a real plug made with leaves and not one of those 'crumble plugs' made with bits and pieces. Ever try to chew a crumble plug? Doesn't go so well. Regardless, I figure, given the manufacturer, I'm going to find a crumble plug in the tin.
It has been too long since posting on the pipe side of things, or in general really. Some ODF in a cob this evening.
I took my pouch of CB original and a cob to work with today, this
evening I'm sharing my Warhorse Green with my son .
Starting to smell a bit like Christmas !
A couple of bowls of Peter Stokkebye's Amsterdam in a little "The 3/4 Oz." pot.

Just opened a tin of F&T Vintage. The prettiest flake that I've ever seen -- variegated with lighter and darker flecks of tobacco. Delightful tin note, and, I've been advised, a nice room note too.
Smoking some LL Dark Red in my YB Bulldog !!
This blend is quite close to Cult BRM and a bit easier
on the wallet.
Preparing to smoke a bowl of SG Kendal Plug in a MM Country Gentleman.

First bowl of the day, LL 125th Anniversary in a Brigham Brandy Pot
Smoked two bowls of Peter Stokkebye Amsterdam in two different Dr. Grabows, both billiards. Been drinking Red Rose iced tea.
Wife did the tree and house decorations today. Brought the kids to see Camo Santa at Cabelas, seems fitting to have some 2015 mcclelland holiday spirit in the cob. Just so happens we're getting a bit of a cold snap and snow tonight. And my little heater just quit so the pipe better keep me warm.

Puffing Hamborger Veermaster in my venerable Kirsten Mariner. Savory!
It's a beautiful day here in San Diego -- Sunny and warm, with the lightest of breezes. A perfect day for a pipe out of doors. And I just finished my Christmas shopping. Thank you, Amazon! The Amazon app for my iPhone is awesomely good.
Capstan Blue in my Dunhill canted dublin
I know I'm boring but I'm smoking another bowl of PS Amsterdam in a Sunrise billiard with an amber colored stem.
McClelland 2015 Va Flake w/ Perique in a Barling Canadian.
This is another stellar bulk blend from Mickey C's. I already like it almost as much as St. James after only 1 bowl.
Smoking my last bowl of Tambolaka in a MM Country Gentleman with a Forever stem. Won't be ordering any of this tobacco to replace what I was given; there are too many other choices in twists, plugs and flakes that pack just as much punch and give more flavor. And besides that, Tambolaka is very expensive to buy here in the US.
I don't think it's even available anymore.
I was given some at one time. I tried one bowl... it wasn't without its charm. It was very earthy as I recall.
I went to smoke another bowl some time later but it had molded on me :(
AFAIK, it's a pure burley. Burley not being my thing I won't miss it much.
Two bowls so far:
A Viking bent brandy with some 2012 Margate
Baraccini poker with some OGS
Enjoyed a saint-emilion grand cru from 2012 with it, great evening
I just opened a tin of F&T Cut Virginia Plug, nearly two years old. This stuff has a very rich and savory flavor. Two neat stacks of flakes in the small rectangular 50g tin.
F&T annoyed me by changing to a round Escudo-size tin -- takes more storage space. But I have 50+ small rectangular tins of CVP on hand, so it'll be awhile before I need more. :)
Smoking a little bowl of Tambolaka in the Hendon billiard this afternoon. Had an interview for a management position this morning and am winding down.

It went really well, thanks for asking! I'm pretty sure they like me or else they are very good actors. I won't know if I got the job until next Friday.
About to light up some of a mystery blend that I got from P&C earlier this fall. They sent me what was supposed to be 8 oz of McClelland No. 2020 Matured Cake, but that wasn't what was in the bag. It was a ribbon-cut blend that smells slightly aromatic. P&C didn't know what it was since it was mislabeled. They told me to keep it and sent out a replacement order. This will be my first time smoking it and the pipe will be a Savinelli Silver billiard.
